Since its founding in 1970, the Greek Summer program has offered high school students a unique cultural experience abroad that includes living with a Greek village family; community service work on a village project and on the campus of the American Farm School; an incredible travel adventure exploring Greece's historic sites and natural beauty; and an unforgettable climb of the legendary peak of Mt. Olympus. All participants receive certificates of the community service hours they have performed.

Of the more than 1,000 alumni, most consider Greek Summer to be one of the most important growth experiences of their lives.
